Staying here was a delight, especially with the close proximity to Coniston Lake and the beautiful scenery just a short walk away, making it perfect for my weekend city strolls. the staff were also incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.

The Small Double Room was impressively upgraded, featuring a comfy setup with amenities like a small fridge. Attentive staff ensured a pleasant experience, and the food offered at the inn was delicious, particularly the Sunday roast lunch, which was a highlight. Convenient on-site parking made it easy to explore the area, but there was limited seating in the dining area during peak hours, impacting the overall dining experience.

The kids loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff who made them feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the substantial breakfast – plenty to choose from, and the tastefully refurbished rooms added to our comfort.

We spent the night here and it was pretty awesome! The room was super clean, cozy, and had a nice TV. The food in the restaurant was amazing—steak and ale pie was a standout! Only tiny bummer was the main road could be seen from the room, but honestly, it wasn’t noisy at all. Overall good vibes!
